The Story Behind The Bottle
When you purchase a Plastic Bank Ocean Bottle you’re supporting the collection of plastic waste in some of the world’s most vulnerable coastal communities.
Our collectors in Haiti, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil exchange plastic waste for premiums used to purchase basic family necessities, such as groceries, cooking fuel, school tuition, and health insurance. The collected material is reborn as Social Plastic® which can be easily reintegrated into products and packaging as part of a closed-loop supply chain. Our Social Plastic® can be found in every Ocean Bottle sold.
