Davines Group collaborates with Plastic Bank to rethink plastic
Davines Group is an Italian family company based in Parma, Italy, featuring two professional brands: Davines, sustainable beauty hair care solutions, and [ comfort zone ], a spa skin care combining performance and sustainability. Among their packaging choices, plastic bottles are used for liquid formulas such as shampoos, conditioners, face and body cleansers. For many years, Davines Group has been focusing on eco-designing their packaging, reducing the use of natural resources, introducing refillable solutions and choosing the most circular, sustainable materials. Especially when speaking about plastic, over the years they have reduced the use of virgin plastic and increased the use of recycled and bio-based plastic. Thanks to the partnership with Plastic Bank, for every product sold by Davines Group in 2023, an equal amount of ocean-bound plastic will be collected and removed from the environment.
More regeneration, less “perfect” materials
Both Davines and [ comfort zone ] brands offer highly sustainable products, formulated with an artisanal spirit, and created according to the most advanced cosmetic research combining efficacy and respect for the environment. The Group’s desire is to generate a positive impact not only on the environment, but also on the people who live in it. For this reason, its commitment also aims to improve the living conditions of local communities involved in plastic collection in Indonesia, Brazil and the Philippines.
