A couple of weeks ago I decided to move my site from my own custom CMS to Silverstripe. I've built several websites using Silverstripe in the past and I've generally enjoyed the experience. Having also built Wordpress sites in the past, I've found I prefer Silverstripe and the relative ease of development. That said, it's been about 5 years since I used Wordpress though, so maybe it's improved since then.
Anyway, while porting my old site across to Silverstripe I decided to redesign my site too. It's still a work in progress (I'm always tweaking it), but I'm happy with how it looks.
The Good Stuff
It's fully responsive, using the <picture> element when it makes sense, and compatible back to IE9 (I don't have a huge number of mobile devices to test on though). I've used a custom Modernizr build (6kb) to handle the use of CSS Transforms and transitions and jQuery for the fairly straight forward responsive menu. I hope to add more interactivity in the near future!
I hope you like it and feel free to contact me if you find bugs or have an opinion!
